i do all the time! Ive got to were i know what to look for on listings to what i like and as you see in my pictures that my collection is growing. My suggestion would be to just search used shoes of the types you like and sometimes you can get lucky that they'll have pics of them being worn. They do get asked a lot to show pictures of them being worn so im careful on who I ask, but i don't ask unless i see key words like well worn or well used. Then most of the time they'll share some great pics with you. Just don't overdo it! Ive yet to be asked why i want them but I've been told no as well. When i do end up winning the item i will tell them i will take them as is if they mention in ad that item will be clean for ebay standards. Then shipping is ok usually well hidden but i do get some in shipping bag that you can definitely feel that they're shoes. Hope this helps! Good Luck!

^ This, more or less. I've probably bought at least 20 pairs of sneakers off Ebay used.

No one knows on Ebay if you're a girl or a guy, unless you say so. Sellers of all kinds of products get asked for more pictures, so it's not even creepy or unusual. Just make sure you ask in a way that's about the item for sale, not about the seller...like, "I'm interested in buying this pair, but want to see how they look when actually worn, could you model them" or such.

Keep in mind that some sellers of women's shoes aren't women, though. Occasionally it's someone getting rid of wife/sister/girlfriend/whatever's stuff. So you just gotta be careful in how and what you ask.

Bought lots over the years off ebay. I don't usually ask questions but I check out the seller and what else she is wearing to make sure she is actually female, not old and is attractive. Sometimes you can see them modelling dresses or outfits and then you know you want her sneaks as you can see she is so hot. Managed to track a few down on facebook and occasionally seen them wearing the very same sneaks I bought from pics they post. Really hate it when you buy a worn pair and they arrive washed and smelling of soap!

A little tip:
Always claim that your location rains a lot - then ask the seller to "seal them from rain" in a zip-lock bag. Shoes often soak the unpleasant smell of cardboard box and ruin the fragrance! :)

I've bought tons from eBay. It is always a hit and miss if you want smelly shoes. What I always search for is "trashed" and "well worn" and then apply filters just to narrow it down to clothing, search worldwide etc.

The seller could show how well they are worn all they want, doesn't mean they smell. I have gotten some really nice smelling shoes though from there but I've gotten disappointing pairs more. More often I've gotten pairs that smell like they have been left outside in the rain or have been cleaned. Which really sucks if you bid quite a bit for them. If that is the case though, I just take the insoles out, put them in my workboots, smell em up and put them back in the shoes.

The very first thing I check out is the feedback. Sometimes you can check there to see how other sellers enjoyed their well worn items. Don't buy anything without telling the seller not to clean them though. Often it is packed discrete but you do get packages that are just wrapped and can easily tell they are shoes. Also if you have a parcel shipped internationally, customs form will also state what it is.

I'd have to say more that 75% of my shoes have come via Ebay. I normally ask them to be boxed so no one is any the wiser at home. I personally am more for the shoe (Nike Shox, Skechers Sport) and don't really care who wore them. But of course they must be obviously female style and sizing.
