What is the one pair of shoes that gave the biggest hard on you ever had?

Ripple sole shoes from a long time ago when they were in fashion. My dad had a pair (like the brown ones pictured) and seeing them just drove me crazy. The ripples would bend under the weight of his feet and made a squelching sound as they flicked against smooth floors. This just drove me crazy at a time when I did not understand what was going on in my body. I could not even express my feelings those shoes had on me. I did not even dare touch them.
