I once tried to get a girl to part with her brown pumps, but she said they were too stinky. She wouldn't let me smell them for anything. I offered to buy her a new pair if she gave me the stinky ones, and she refused. I went as far as to buy her a new pair after she broke a heel on one of the shoes, and she still wouldn't part with them. In the end, I had to sneak whiffs of her shoes when she was not looking.
