The women in Europe wear high heels a whole lot more than the women in the US! And I speak from experience too. I have lived in America and in Europe. I admit, New York City matches what you can see in the European capitals and fashion centers, but generally speaking Europe is heaven for high heels when compared to most parts of the US.
