SIL Converse

Wanted to give a quick update. They (SIL and BIL) were supposed to get here last night and spend all day today the race expo and getting their bibs, etc. Which would have put me in the opportunity of being home alone with her shoes all day. Unfortunately, plans changed at the last minute and they left today. They're driving straight to the expo and they will be coming here after...probably in the afternoon evening. Why this is bad is because unexpectedly my in-laws are also coming at the same time in addition to some extra family members from out of town. They are all staying at my house and we are sans one bedroom so they will be sleeping everywhere tonight (including the living room area next to the shoes). Which means no access to the shoes tonight probably. Bummer. I will see what I can do though. I am known to improvise from time to time

Well if anything I can try to get some candid shots for you guys.

And not to worry, they are coming back to stay with us for thanksgiving and christmas.

Okay should I do SIL flip flops or SIL running shoes? Race is tomorrow but shoes are in shoe bag near where people are sleeping. I'd probably have to bring the bag into the bathroom. If I do the running shoes where should I deposit my load?

Flip flops are easier target because they're in the garage. No signs of converse unfortunately, I think they are left in the car.

So it's the next morning and the race is over already. I went for the running shoes last night but i hit the wrong target as I found out this morning. Last night I grabbed a shoe bag that looked like it was her running bag so I brought it with me to the bathroom. Looking inside I first saw her converse which was hot. But I kept looking because they weren't the intended target. I found a pair of her old Adidas running shoes and assumed they would be the ones she was running in a few hours. I took out the insole and came on it and spread it around. Put it back in the bag. Done deal right? Well the race started at some ungodly hour like 3:30 of 4am so by the time I woke up they were already back from the race with their medals. I look in the front door and Lo and behold there's a pair of white, blue, and red ASICS I've never seen before. They were really hot looking and was bummed I didn't get a chance with them before the race. She was already in the shower when I came back down so I could imagine how damp they were inside. Unfortunately everyone else was up by then too so I didn't get a chance to check. I'll try to snap some pics later. They are supposed to be out all day so maybe I'll get a chance with then today or tonight. Fingers crossed.
