the wifes old Lord and Taylor boots from the 80's

These boots have been out of the rotation for a few years now so that is why I can use them over and over again without her asking for them. Another thing about these boots is we actually have two pairs of them. Now this was in the mid 80's and they were on sale so we bought them. A few months later in the early spring we were back there and they had all the boots marked down like 80 percent or so but they only had larger sizes left. I talked her into getting them and then she can wear heavy wool socks and have a nice tall pair to wear in the snow and still be warm with the pair or two of wool socks. Turned out to be a great idea for when I would go and snow blow the drive she would wear them and help shovel by the door and other places I could not get to with the blower. Win win. The other true to size pair is still in the rotation but it has been a while since she wore those. The toes of these boots need polish for that is from her tromping through the thick snow for all those years. That's why I called them her "work boots".
