Shrinking/Resizing images

Hi i am a new member here, i am from Australia.... I have a lot of pictures to post and they are all too big, what is the best image compressor or resizer you guys are using?? any help would be great!
I keep getting a error whilst trying to upload..... i figured they were too big

i was uploading some pics today and realized that perhaps some of you are hitting the upload button before hitting browse. i kept making that mistake. faststone photo resizer seems to work well and its free.

Try doing a Google or Yahoo search for a free image editing utility

www.download.com is a good place for freeware

A good utility will allow you to resize and compress your images.
