So let me start off by saying im in my 20’s, in college but i live at home still. to make a long story short, i come upstairs after the gym and see all the shoes and socks i’ve collect over the pasts few months all just laid out on a garbage bag in front of my door to my room. just right in the open, never had this happen before. its fair to say im having quite the panic attack. Like at my age why would my mom violate my privacy like this and go through my room. furthermore taking everything and laying it out on a garbage bag? I feel like throwing up, i feel sick. i can’t look at her in the eyes, locked myself in the bathroom and she hasn’t said anything. If anything i would’ve expected her to just move on or mind her business. but nope, if anyone has gone through this or something similar and has advice for me please help me.
thank god i also purged most of my collection a few months ago, although my collection is decently sized. it was much larger before. but regardless does not make this any better.
