I didn't feel like ruining the missus' wedges too much, so I found a similar pair on eBay, same size but rainbow coloured. This is turning into a bit of an obsession as I've managed to acquire an exact same pair (I had to chuck out the rainbow-coloured ones earlier as they became too smelly from all the cum).
