I did see your post in the abused shoe forum, just something that came to mind whilst I was here!
Why don't you take one pair of her shoes, throw them onto the grass and then mow them with the lawn mower! Repeatedly! Even better if you have a big ride on mower, but anything is good as long as it mows the shoes.
